Adagio started from wanting a chic, sophisticated, and easy way to do your hair on a messy hair day. Every time I would add different scrunchies and bows together, it would remind me of the elegant ways I would have to secure my hair for ballet class on the daily while I was growing up. All the time and effort to have the perfect bun. It was an idea with a simple goal, to combine what you need for different hairstyles in one look. In my apartment in Brooklyn, with a small sewing machine and pattern paper, I made several versions to perfect what is now the dancer scrunchie.
